Bio

Ashley Grombol is a actor/writer based in New York City. Born in Cleveland she moved to Orlando at a youngish age and then headed to Dallas to study theatre in college. She settled in NYC a few months after graduating with a BFA in acting from SMU Meadows School of the Arts.

She has spent her time in NYC primarily participating in new and original scripts, collaborating with many up and coming playwrights and screen writers. She currently focuses her time on writing and performing sketch comedy. She writes for the house sketch team, Pamela, at UCB NY, which was recently chosen to perform in “The Best of Sketch” at UCB in the New York Comedy Festival. She has also performed/written sketch for Caveat, The PIT and Austin Sketch Fest.  She’s an active runner, an NYT crossword devotee, and loves a solid gin gimlet.

You can find her other internet brainchild, Domestic B(i)atch, here.  A blog created out of a silly hashtag, it’s where style and baking collide. She hasn’t touched it in years, but she refuses to stop paying the fee to keep it running.

She currently lives in Manhattan with her husband, musician/dreamboat Phil Pickens.
